Gonggar, the Photo Gallery, is founded by a group of jointed passionate photographers in China and Canada dedicating on promoting the finest landscaping photos from contemporary photographers of the world.- The gallery currently concentrates on landscaping photos of China and Canada, expesically the most scenery western provinces of China such as Sichuan, Yunan, Tibet (Xizang), Xinjiang and Qinghai as well as Ontario and Quebec of Canada. However, the gallery will never limit itself to these regions, instead it always has the space for more wonderful photos from rest of the world.
- Mount Gonggar, also known as Minya Konka, is the highest mountain in Sichuan, China. It is situated in the Daxue Shan mountain range. It is the easternmost 7000 m peak in the world and the third highest peak outside of the Himalaya/Karakoram. "Gonggar" was given as a good wish to the gallery to be the highest peak among others.
